  1. A Customer Service Announcement...

Here at Matched.co.uk we like to get regular feedback from our customers about how they find the service.

One thing we’ve been told is that some people find it a little hard to get in touch with us if they have a problem or need some help.

That’s not something we like to hear, so we’re really sorry if you’re one of those people who have unsuccessfully been trying to get in contact.

We’ve had a few technical issues with our email systems recently and, in addition, Matched has grown so quickly in the last few months that it’s now got over 8,000 users. As you can imagine, providing support to 8,000 people can be a bit of a test sometimes, especially when you’re a small team running a beta service!

Nevertheless, we’re going to make a big effort to improve our level of customer service and get back to people as quickly as we can when they’ve got issues. Before you contact us with a query, however, do make sure you have a good look around the forum because the chances are that somebody else has already had your problem and it’s been discussed.

So that’s it from us for now. Once again, apologies if you’ve had problems getting in touch with us and we hope things run a little more smoothly from now on.

Thanks very much for using Matched.co.uk…

  2. Only One Matched Ad Per Page!

Here at Matched.co.uk we're noticing that some publishers are placing more than one ad on their pages.

The terms and conditions of the service state that only one Matched ad can appear on each webpage, and that must be the page that the ad has been assigned to.

If you currently have more than one Matched ad on a website page, you risk not being paid.

You need to ensure, therefore, that you do not have more than one ad on each page. If your ad is appearing on multiple pages because you've put it in your sidebar, you need to move it to the main body of the the page it's been assigned to.

Alternatively, some friendly Matched users have created code that will allow you to have the Matched ad in the sidebar but not appearing on every page.

To use the code for free, simply log into the Matched Forum and go to http://forum.matched.co.uk/showthread.php?t=75.

If more than one Matched ad is appearing on a website page it's vital that you address the issue immediately as payments will soon be stopped for those displaying more than one ad on a page.

Thanks very much for your co-operation.

    The Matched Team :-)
