When will I get my payment for referring a publisher?

1. When and how will I be paid?: Once your ads have been live on your site for a month, you will be paid on the 15th of the month by bank transfer or by PayPal.
2. How do I earn money?: When you submit your site, we have a pool of advertisers that we match your site to. If we find a relevant match, the advertiser pays a monthly fee to appear on your website.
3. Can I run ads along with Google Adsense or from other networks?: Yes, you can run Matched.co.uk ads along with Google adsense as they are not contextually based and won't affect other ad systems.
4. I have signed up as a publisher, what is the next step?: Once you have signed up the next step is to validate your account through an activation email we will send you. Once your account is active you can start earning money straight away, simply choose your ad then upload the ad code we give you to your site.
5. Is there a limit to how many ads I can publish on my site?: Yes, you can only publish 1 ad per page on your site, with up to 5 pages per site.
6. Can I add more than one website?: Yes, you can add up to 5 websites in total
7. How will I receive my monthly statements?: Your statements will be generated online and can be viewed under the ‘My Statements’ section of your account. You will receive an email each month once your statement is available and you can then view the invoice by download.
8. I have signed up as a publisher; can I sign up as an advertiser too?: Yes, with Matched.co.uk you can sign up as both an advertiser and a publisher.
9. Do I need to have a UK bank account to become a Publisher?: No, we can also pay you through PayPal if you'd prefer to receive your money in that way.
10. How much will I earn each month from an ad?: For each ad you publish on your website page, you will be paid £3 per month. Payment will start once the ad has been live for a full month. You can add up to 5 pages per domain.
11. Is there a sign up bonus?: Yes, if you sign up as a Publisher with Matched.co.uk you will recieve a £5 sign up bonus once ads have been allocated to you and you have shown them on your site for a full month.
12. Why do I get 406 errors on my website.: We have noticed that a few users use mambo CMS to power their websites and have been receiving ad not found errors due to the site returning a 406 error code when checked.

This is believed to be caused by Apache’s mod_security module, which interferes with some mambo installations.

13. Why do I get 403 errors on my website?: As mentioned in the following article, 403 errors occur when a web server is not allowed to deliver content to the browser: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/findbyerrormessage/a/403error.htm

These usually occur when a file or directory on a website has restricted permissions, preventing the web server from reading its content and delivering it to the user.

This can happen when files are updated or in some instances when a data backup cycle runs on a server, for example.

In short, if you have an email from us saying we cannot find your ad due to a 403 error, then this is a problem on your server that we cannot do anything about.

If you use managed or shared servers this is a problem you may not have any control over.

In this case, the best option is to first check that page is accessible from the web, and then contact your server administrator to report the problem.

1. Is there a limit to how many ads an advertiser can submit?: No, there is no limit - advertisers can submit as many ads as they wish.
2. What is the next step after I submit my ad?: Once you have submitted your ad it will be sent to our administrator for approval. Your ad will then be included in our pool of advertiser ads ready to be matched with a publisher.
3. Can I submit an ad for more than website?: Yes, you can submit as many ads for as many websites as you like.
4. How will I be able to measure the success of my ads?: You can view the success of your ads in the 'Ad impressions' section of your account. This will show you the number of times your ad has been displayed on a publishers website.
5. I have signed up as a advertiser, can I sign up as an publisher too?: Yes, with Matched.co.uk you can sign up as both an advertiser and a publisher. Once you have logged into your advertiser account, simply click on the green 'Publishers' tab and fill in the form.

You can contact the matched administrator by email in the 'My mail' section of your account.

2. What is a spider?

A spider is a program that visits Web sites and reads their pages and other information. At Matched.co.uk, we use spiders to crawl publishers websites to confirm that the advertiser's ads are being displayed correctly.

3. Why do I need to enter my signature?

OPSI defines electronic signature as "data in electronic form which are attached to or logically associated with other electronic data and which serve as a method of authentication."

For security purposes, you will not be able to update your personal information or bank details (which constitute part of the contract taken out with Netbasic Ltd) without entering your 'electronic signature' as you did when you first entered into the agreement.
